This 1966 Ford Mustang 289 V8 Convertible & was restored 4 years ago (rotisserie). The engine & transmission were
also restored Professionally at the same time. If you want a great car to cruise-in's or go to car shows... this
is the vehicle you want. Beautiful, inside & out. Candy Apple Red paint. Black & parchment (tan) interior.
Black motorized / hydraulic top. 75, 000 original miles. Professionally restored many of the original parts or
purchased new replacement parts from CJ Pony Parts & Doc's Mustang when necessary. Kept receipts & lots of
pictures. Just ask if you need anything.
I have also found this car was originally wimbledon white w/ parchment (tan) interior & had a manual 4 speed. It
was changed to the more popular Candy Apple Red & modified to a automatic which makes it more drive-able (according
to the owner before me). I am the 3rd owner of the car.
The best thing about this car is that it starts & drives, just like it is brand new. There isn't any play in the
steering wheel. Brakes & shocks were all replaced. All the doors & lids close without any additional added
pressure & weather seals are all new. The upgrades I did where all cosmetics: LED Tail-lights. Front fog lights. Chrome - GT Magnum
wheels & rear MagnaFlow dual exhaust through rear valance (to duplicate a GT & Shelby).
Hate to sell this beautiful convertible, but will be moving soon & will be limited on garage space. I also have a
car cover & many of the parts I did not put back on the car.
Let me know if you need anything. If you can find a way to drive this car... you will see just how much time we
put into it. From top to bottom, front to back... all looks great. The only 2 items I haven't had time to work on
that need tweaking are the horn (steering wheel) & radio. Both work but have issues. The horn issue is a common
issue found on Scott Drake replacement steering wheels. The horn would get stuck on occasion. The radio, would
turn off, without touching anything. Also a common issue with this replacement / re-manufactured radio. Both
should be easy to fix w/ a little time & patience.
