This is the rarest, lowest-mileage, highest-spec, lightest-weight U.S.-street-legal Exige S260 Sport in existence.
One of the very last of the reinvented Lotus Exige S260 Sports, which returned in late 2010 for a limited run,
culminating in this 2011 model. One of only four 2011 U.S.-spec S260 Sports made. This was the last short-handful
of S260 Sports ever produced.
Redesigns and new features include front and rear bodywork, carbon fibre aero package with a 7.1-inch wider rear
spoiler and deeper splitter, 5-spoke forged ultra-light wheels, carbon fibre engine hatch, hand-made carbon fibre
shell HANS restraint compatible racing seats with Alcantara upholstery, intake snorkel extended to front of carbon
fiber roof, Alcantara dash/door panel trim.
Retained from the previous version were the free-revving 257hp supercharged engine, Ohlins double adjustable remote
reservoir dampers, Accusump oil accumulator, dual oil coolers, lightweight flywheel, lightweight battery,
lightweight intercooler plumbing, adjustable traction control, limited slip differential, carbon fibre roof, carbon
fibre interior trim, rear window delete, and T45 roll hoop/harness bar. Fully optioned with both available
options—Lifestyle Paint and Star Shield clear bra.
